This Privacy Policy describes how LiveStream ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
## 2. Information We Collect
### 2.1 Google / YouTube Account Data
When you sign in with Google, the App receives:
- Your Google profile information (name, email address, profile photo)- YouTube channel information (channel ID)- OAuth access and refresh tokens for the YouTube Data API
The App requests the `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube` scope to create, manage, and stream live broadcasts on your behalf.
### 2.2 Facebook Account Data
When you sign in with Facebook, the App receives:
- Your Facebook profile information (name, profile photo)- Facebook Page information (page names, page IDs, page access tokens)- OAuth access tokens for the Facebook Graph API
This data is used to create and manage live video broadcasts on your Facebook Pages.
### 2.3 Stream Keys
You may manually enter RTMP stream keys for custom streaming destinations. These are stored locally on your device.
### 2.4 Camera, Microphone, and Photos
The App accesses your device's camera and microphone to capture live video and audio. If you use the local recording feature, videos are saved to your device's photo library with your permission.
### 2.5 Local Network
The App uses your local network to communicate with companion devices (Apple Watch, peer iOS devices) for remote control functionality via Bonjour/Multipeer Connectivity.
## 3. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to:
- Authenticate with YouTube and Facebook on your behalf- Create, schedule, and manage live broadcasts- Stream live video to your selected platform- Display your account information within the App for account management- Enable remote control between your devices on the local network
## 4. Data Storage
All user data — including OAuth tokens, account details, stream keys, and preferences — is stored locally on your device. The App does not operate any backend servers and does not transmit your data to the App developer or any third party other than the platforms you choose to stream to (YouTube, Facebook, or custom RTMP endpoints).
## 5. Data Sharing
The App shares data only with the third-party platforms you explicitly connect to:
- YouTube / Google: Your broadcast settings and live video stream are sent directly to YouTube's servers via the YouTube Data API and RTMP.- Facebook / Meta: Your broadcast settings and live video stream are sent directly to Facebook's servers via the Graph API and RTMP.
The App does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any other third parties. No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in the App.
## 6. Google API Services User Data Policy
The App's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the [Google API Services User Data Policy](https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- The App only uses Google user data for the purposes described in this policy (live streaming to YouTube)- The App does not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the streaming service- The App does not use Google user data for advertising purposes- A human can review your Google user data only with your affirmative consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
## 7. Data Retention and Deletion
Account data is retained on your device until you remove the account from the App or delete the App. To delete your data:
- Remove individual accounts: Use the account management screen in the App to sign out or delete any connected YouTube or Facebook account.- Delete all data: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.- Revoke Google access: Visit [Google Account Permissions](https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) to revoke the App's access to your Google account.- Revoke Facebook access: Visit [Facebook App Settings](https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=applications) to revoke the App's access to your Facebook account.
## 8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
## 9. Security
OAuth tokens and account credentials are stored using the device's local storage mechanisms. All communication with YouTube and Facebook APIs occurs over HTTPS. Live video streams are transmitted over RTMP/RTMPS as supported by the destination platform.
